Salamanca Market, Salamanca Place

Close to Hobart's dock area, historic Salamanca Place is famous for its artist studios, restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. It is also home to Salamanca Market, a street market, held every Saturday. Hobart's Salamanca Market is a major tourist attraction in Tasmania.

Salamanca Market Operating Hours

Salamanca Market is held every Saturday, except for occasions when Anzac Day or Christmas Day fall on a Saturday - then the market operates on Sunday of the same weekend. The market operating hours are from 8.30 am until 3pm.
Operating hours vary for other individual businesses within the Salamanca Area.
